Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire
Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire signed the Protocol on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations on November 19, 1996.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire to the Russian Federation is also accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Cooperation between Azerbaijan and this country is carried out mainly within the framework of international organizations. Due to Azerbaijan’s interest in developing cooperation with African countries, it is important to explore opportunities and hold bilateral high-level meetings for strengthening and developing relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Côte d'Ivoire in political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and other fields.
