Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Guinea
The Republic of Guinea was one of the first states to recognize the independence of Azerbaijan on the 9th of January 1992, and it was the first African state to establish diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan on the 11th of March 1992.
In accordance with the Order of the Azerbaijani President, Azerbaijan has provided US$1MM in assistance to the UN Global Fund to fight the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).
