Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Mozambique
On June 20, 1995, the Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between The Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Mozambique was signed.
On April 18, 2013, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of South Africa was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Mozambique, with his residence in Pretoria.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Mozambique are carried out mainly within the framework of international organizations. The organization of high-level bilateral meetings as well as strengthening and developing relations between the two countries in political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and other fields will add value to bilateral relations.
Mutual visits of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs
- On February 20-27, 2014, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov visited Mozambique.
