Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Mali
On November 26, 1996, the Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Mali was signed.
By Order No. 2348 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated August 20, 2007, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco, with his residence in the city of Rabat, was also appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Mali.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Mali in the Russian Federation in Moscow and, at the same time, has accreditation in Azerbaijan.
Effective cooperation is carried out between Azerbaijan and Mali within the framework of international organizations. The political relations between Azerbaijan and Mali are satisfactory. There are good opportunities for the further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Mali. It is important to explore opportunities for economic cooperation, mutual trade and investment between the two countries.
Mutual visits of the Heads of the States
- On May 4-6, 2017, the President of the Republic of Mali, Ibrahim Bubakar Keita, visited our country in order to participate in the IV World Intercultural Dialogue Forum in Baku. It was accepted by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev on May 5, 2017.
