Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Republic of Tanzania
On the 7th of February 2019, the Permanent Representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Republic of Tanzania to the United Nations signed a Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
A delegation led by the Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Mr Kassim Majaliwa, visited Azerbaijan as part of the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Baku on the 23rd to the 26th of October 2019.
