Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and The Kingdom of Lesotho
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Lesotho were established on September 28, 2012.
Relations between Azerbaijan and Lesotho are carried out mainly within the framework of international organizations. Ample opportunities exist for developing relations between Azerbaijan and Lesotho in political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and other fields.
Mutual visits of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs
- A delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Lesego Makgoti, visited Azerbaijan as part of the XVIII Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement held in Baku on October 23–26, 2019.
- On September 22, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, J. Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Matsepo Ramakoae, within the framework of his participation in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.
