Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Principality of Monaco
Diplomatic relations between the Principality of Monaco and the Republic of Azerbaijan were established on 19 December 2007.
Diplomatic correspondences between two countries are being realized via the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of the Principality of Monaco accredited to France.
Mutual visits of the Heads of the States
- On 18-19 February 2014, Prince Albert II of the Principality of Monaco visited Azerbaijan.
- On 23 January 2015, President Ilham Aliyev met Prince Albert II of Monaco in Davos.
- On 12 June 2015, Prince Albert II of Monaco visited Azerbaijan to participate in the opening ceremony of the first European Games.
Inter-parliamentary relations
- On September 28, 2016, Beatrice Fresco-Rolfo, member of the Parliament of Monaco, attended the seminar entitled "The role of the parliamentarians in expanding women's powers and fighting violence against women" organized by the PACE Parliamentary Network in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Contractual and legal framework
4 bilateral agreements have been signed between the two countries.
