The Kingdom of Denmark
The Kingdom of Denmark recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the 31st of December 1991. Diplomaticrelations between the two countries were establishedon the 2nd of April 1992.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for Azerbaijan-Denmark Inter-Parliamentary Relations has been established in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group is chaired by Mrs Sevinj Fataliyeva.
Contractual and legal framework
In total, two documents were signed between Azerbaijan and Ireland.
Economic co-operation
In 2020, trade turnover of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Kingdom of Denmark reached US$74.15M, including the volumes of import (US$24.36M) and export (US$ 49.79M).
In January-April 2021, trade turnover of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Kingdom of Denmark amounted to US$ 11.14M, including the volumes of import (US$ 10.45M) and export (US$ 0.69M)
