Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Qatar
Diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan were established on September 14, 1994.
The high-level political relations connecting the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Qatar have created a productive ground for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The interest of Qatari investors in the renewable energy sector of our country, as well as the mutual exemption from the visa regime of Azerbaijani and Qatari passports, active parliamentary cooperation and existing economic relations between our countries are the main pillars of bilateral cooperation.
As a whole, Azerbaijan-Qatar relations, which have a tendency to further develop and the implementation of joint activities in this direction will revive the potential in new sectors in the future.
Both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of international platforms, the State of Qatar has always supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
