The Kingdom of Cambodia
Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Cambodia
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Cambodia were established on the 28th of December 1994. The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with its residence in Hanoi, is also accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ankara is also accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Cambodia was held on April 21-23, 2014, in Baku under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Hasanov, and the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Hun Sen.
The second round of political consultations was held in Phnom Penh on March 13-15, 2019, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ramiz Hasanov, and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Uch Borit.
The third round of political consultations was held on June 1, 2022, in Baku under the chairmanship of Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Chem Vidyan, State Secretary (Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Mutual visits of the Prime Ministers
On April 21-23 2014, the Prime Minister of The Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Sen paid a visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Inter-parliamentary relations
Azerbaijan-Cambodia inter-parliamentary relations working group:
As of November 18, 2022, the head of the Azerbaijan-Cambodia inter-parliamentary relations working group is Mammadov Ramin Iyamshah.
