The Republic of Kazakhstan
Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan were established on August 30, 1992. The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan was established in 1993, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan was set up in 2004. Additionally, the Consulate General in the city of Aktau has been opened in 2008.
The historical, cultural, and religious similarities between the Azerbaijani and Kazakh peoples form the foundation of the traditional friendship and brotherly relations between the two countries.
A dynamic political dialogue based on mutual respect and trust established at the highest level serves as the primary factor shaping the close cooperation between the two countries across various domains, fostering significant achievements.
The relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have evolved into a strategic partnership and alliance, reflecting a new depth and significance.
Beyond the bilateral partnership encompassing economy, trade, investments, energy security, transport, and communications, the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on regional and international platforms, particularly within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), holds significant potential and expansive prospects.
The gift of the Kazakh people to Azerbaijan - the Children's Creativity Center named after Kurmangazy, built and commissioned in the liberated territories of the city of Fuzuli, is considered as another symbol of friendship and brotherly relations between our peoples.
Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan not only engage in a bilateral format but also collaborate effectively within regional and international organizations, showing mutual support and attentiveness to each other's national interests.
