Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H)
Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the 9th of February 1995, and diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and B&H were established on the same day.
The Diplomatic Representation of Azerbaijan in Bosnia and Herzegovina was established on the 1st of March 2011.
Mr Mladen Ivanic, Chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, paid working visits to Azerbaijan on the following dates: 10-12 March 2016; 16-18 March 2017; 15-17 March 2018; and 14-16 March 2019.
On the 25th to the 26th of October 2019, Mr Milorad Dodik, Chairman of the Presidium of Bosnia and Herzegovina, paid a working visit to Azerbaijan.
On the 1st to the 2nd of December 2016, and on the 3rd to the 6th of April 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr Igor Crnadak, paid official visits to Azerbaijan.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for Azerbaijan-B&H Inter-Parliamentary Relations has been established and active in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group os chaired by Mazahir Afandiyev.
The Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group for Eastern and Central Europe (Azerbaijan is a member of the group), which has been operating in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2020, has 11 members, and is headed by Bariša Čolak.

In total, six documents were signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
