The Kingdom of Norway
Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Norway
Kingdom of Norway recognised the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on 2 January 1992. The two countries established diplomatic relations on 5 June 1992.
Azerbaijan does not have an Embassy in Norway. Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Sweden is also accredited to Norway.
Norway has not an Embassy in Azerbaijan. The Norwegain Embassy in Turkiye is also accredited to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan attaches importance to its bilateral relations with Norway and bilateral ties include the political, economic and humanitarian areas.

Azerbaijan – Norway Parliamentary Working Group has been established in the Milli Mejlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Working Group is headed by Iltizam Yusifov, MP.
