Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Ireland
The Republic of Ireland recognized the independence of Azerbaijan in 1991. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on the 1st of July 1996.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for Azerbaijan-Ireland Inter-Parliamentary Relations has been established and operates in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group is chaired by Erkin Gadirli.
Economic co-operation
In total, 12 Irish companies engaged in trade and services have been registered in Azerbaijan.
