Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Norway
The Kingdom of Norway recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the 2nd of January 1992. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on the 5th of June 1992.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for Azerbaijan-Norway Inter-Parliamentary Relations has been established and operates in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group is chaired by Iltizam Yusifov.
Contractual and legal framework
In total, twelve documents were signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Norway.
Economic co-operation
There are 33 Norwegian companies operating in Azerbaijan (sectors: industry, c / t, service, construction).
