Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Argentine Republic
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina were established on the 8th of November 1993. The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Argentina was established in 2010. The Argentine Embassy in Azerbaijan has been operating since 2012.
On the 20th to the 21st of March 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, paid a working visit to Argentina to participate in the Second High-Level UN Conference on South-South Cooperation (BAPA+40).
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for the Azerbaijani-Argentine Inter-Parliamentary Relations has been established and active in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. There are Argentine-Azerbaijani friendship groups in the Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of the Argentine Republic.

In total, twenty five documents were signed between the two countries.
Economic co-operation
Azerbaijan and Argentina have a joint working group on trade and economic co-operation. The group was established in accordance with the Agreement on Trade and Economic Co-operation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Argentine Republic, which was signed in July 2012. The first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Argentine Joint Working Group on Trade and Economic Co-operation was held on the 25th of November 2014 in Buenos Aires.
