Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Commonwealth of Australia
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Commonwealth of Australia were established on the 19th of June 1992. The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Commonwealth of Australia has been active since 2013. The Australian Embassy in Ankara is also accredited to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Azerbaijan-Australia Inter-Parliamentary Relations Working Group operates in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group is chaired by Asim Mollazadeh (24.04.2020). After the parliamentary elections held in Australia in 2022, a new Friendship Group for Australia-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary relations has not been established yet.
