Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Sultanate of Oman
The Sultanate of Oman recognized the independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the 30th of December 1991. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on the 13th of July 1992.
An active political dialogue between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Sultanate of Oman provided a solid foundation for the expansion of bilateral cooperation in all sectors. Meetings at the bilateral and international levels help to strengthen political, economic, and humanitarian links. However, there remains untapped potential for collaborative efforts. Both on a bilateral basis and within international platforms, the Sultanate of Oman has always supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
