Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Palestine
A protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Palestinian National Authority was signed on the 15th of April 1992.
The Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Palestine have strong political relations, which helps to further improve bilateral cooperation. In recent years, our nations built strong cooperative contacts, particularly in the humanitarian sphere. The Republic of Azerbaijan has contributed millions of US dollars in financial help to the Palestinian people. Relations between the two nations might be assessed positively. Both on a bilateral basis and within international platforms, the State of Palestine has always supported the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
