Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe
On the 25th of September 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-operation and Communities of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, Mr Urbino Botelho, as part of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, the parties signed a joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.
