Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Malawi
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Malawi were established on May 21, 2004. A joint communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Malawi was signed in New York on May 21, 2004.
Cooperation relations between Azerbaijan and Malawi are carried out mainly within the framework of international organizations. Due to Azerbaijan’s interest in cooperation with African countries, holding bilateral high-level meetings and collaboration in political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and other fields is of great importance.
