Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Ambassador Alper Coşkun of Türkiye
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Ambassador Alper Coşkun of the Republic of Türkiye upon termination of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Alper Coşkun said that he will be leaving Azerbaijan with pleasant memories and on that account expressed his gratitude to the Government of Azerbaijan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support he has received during his stay to carry out his diplomatic activities in a successful manner.
Minister Mammadyarov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Alper Coşkun for his important role in further deepening brotherly and friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye and appreciated his contributions to the expansion of mutually beneficial and comprehensive cooperation across political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas.
At the meeting it was stressed that bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye develops dynamically across all areas on the basis of brotherhood and strategic alliance. They noted that this bilateral cooperation also serves for the maintenance of peace and development in the region and beyond. Interlocutors touched upon the importance of trilateral cooperation and stressed the significance of Azerbaijan-Georgia-Türkiye, Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Türkiye and Azerbaijan-Iran-Türkiye trilateral cooperation mechanisms in this regard.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov reiterated his condolences to the brotherly Turkish people and relatives of the martyrs who lost their lives in resisting the failed coup attempt.
Foreign Minister wished Ambassador Alper Coşkun well in his future endeavors.
