Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Nebojša Stefanović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Nebojša Stefanović, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
The Ministers expressed their satisfaction with the level of relations and mutual support within international organizations.
Nebojša Stefanović stated that his country supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, as well as Azerbaijan.
At the meeting, the sides discussed about future perspectives of bilateral cooperation and ways of further advancing the relations along various fields between Azerbaijan and Serbia. Noting the importance of joint fight against terrorism and organized crime, they touched upon the need to strengthen the exchange of information between law enforcement agencies of both countries.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov told about the activity of Serbian companies in Azerbaijan and the companies of Azerbaijan in Serbia respectively, and said that there is great potential for further cooperation. He also expressed his hope that this visit will contribute to the cooperation in the fields of political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian as well as tourism spheres between our countries.
Nebojša Stefanović informed about the potential of his country in tourism and medical-health areas and invited Azerbaijani companies to invest to Serbia.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged their views on expanding the legal-treaty base and other issues on the agenda.
