Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met with Harlem Desir, Secretary of State for European Affairs of France on the sidelines of the 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) held in Baku
At the meeting, the sides exchanged their views on the development of bilateral relations in various fields. They noted the importance of the 7th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) held in Baku.
Informing about the latest escalation along the line of contact of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan since 2nd of April, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov mentioned that Armenia continues to violate the cease-fire with heavy weapons and as a result of which civilian objects in Tartar district were sustained serious damages.
Noting the importance of increasing the efforts by the Minsk Group co-chairs of OSCE on the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, Elmar Mammadyarov underlined Azerbaijan’s readiness for the result oriented negotiations on the settlement of the conflict.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the regional and global issues of mutual concern.
