No:605/22, Press information on signing of “Action Plan on deepening cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization”
On 24 December 2022 “Action Plan on deepening cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO)” was signed at the Headquarters of the ISESCO in Rabat, Morocco.
Action Plan envisages joint activities of the sides on the promotion of global call on “peace for culture” initiative put forward by the Republic of Azerbaijan in partnership with UN Alliance of Civilizations and ISESCO.
Furthermore, according to the Action Plan, ISESCO Young Professionals Program, protection of the cultural heritage of Islamic World, as well as projects on information technologies will be supported.
The Action Plan was signed by Nazim Samadov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Morocco and ISESCO Director General Salim Al-Malik.
Following the signing ceremony, the meeting between Ambassador Samadov and S. Al-Malik was held. The sides exchanged opinion on close cooperation between Azerbaijan and ISESCO, as well as future cooperation plans between the organization and the MFA of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Rabat.
