On 31 October 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, within the framework of his working visit to the city of Samarkand of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili.
During the meeting, a detailed exchange of views was held on the prospects for the development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia in political, security, economic, transport and humanitarian areas, as well as on current issues on the regional agenda.
Satisfaction was expressed with the high level of existing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia, and it was noted that the active political dialogue established between the two countries, as well as regional platforms, constitute a solid foundation for relations.
The ministers noted the importance of joint efforts to ensure sustainable peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
