No:413/25, Press release on consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus

Regular consular consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus were held in the city of Baku.
At the consular consultations, the delegation of Azerbaijan was led by the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Emil Safarov, and the delegation of Belarus was led by the Head of the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Vyacheslavovich Kozhan.
Designated officials from both sides’ foreign policy bodies attended the consultations, along with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, the State Migration Service, and the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, as well as employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the consultations, the current state and prospects of relations between the two countries in the consular sphere, as well as opportunities for expanding the bilateral legal framework in this field were discussed.
At the end of the consultations, a Protocol was signed in accordance with the discussions held.
