On October 12, 2021, on the sidelines of a high-level meeting dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cameroon Lejeune Mbella Mbella.
Congratulating Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on the successful holding of the Non-Aligned Movement's 60th-anniversary event, the Cameroonian Foreign Minister noted with satisfaction initiatives of international importance and successful activities of Azerbaijan as chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement.
During the meeting, the Ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations, noting the importance of intensifying political consultations in this regard.
The potential for the development of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cameroon was noted.
At the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
