No:376/24, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland

On 25 September 2024, within the framework of the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with Radosław Sikorski, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
It was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in the political, economic, alternative energy, humanitarian and other fields have broad prospects, and the importance of the political consultations mechanism in the development of relations was noted.
The Minister emphasized that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), hosted by our country this year, creates favorable opportunities for new areas of partnership, and that Azerbaijan is interested in cooperation with Poland within this framework.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side in detail about the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process. The necessity of making relevant amendments to the Constitution of Armenia for the successful completion of the peace agreement was emphasized.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted on new areas of cooperation and other topics of mutual interest.
