On 14 August 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan conveyed his congratulations on the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and the United States during the visit of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States, as well as on the achievements made in the Azerbaijan–Armenia normalization process. It was noted that the signed documents are of great importance for ensuring peace and stability in the region.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of Azerbaijan–Kazakhstan strategic partnership relations and emphasized that high-level and top-level contacts and visits between our countries contribute to the development of cooperation.
The importance of further strengthening cooperation within regional and international organizations of which Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are members was noted, and preparations for upcoming events in the coming months were discussed.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
