On 23 June 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the telephone conversation, partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE, issues of cooperation both bilaterally and within the framework of international organizations, as well as the regional and international security situation were discussed.
The sides expressed serious concern over the security situation in the region resulting from the Israel-Iran confrontation and emphasized the importance of resolving the issues through diplomatic means.
The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
