On 13 May 2024, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
The sides discussed cooperation issues between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in various fields, including transport, energy and humanitarian spheres.
During the telephone conversation, satisfaction was expressed with the current level of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
It was noted that relations between the two countries and our peoples are based on historical foundations and have always developed on the basis of respect for the norms and principles of international law, including territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Ukrainian side emphasized the importance of the humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine for its country and expressed its gratitude for this.
At the same time, an exchange of views was held on other bilateral and regional cooperation issues of mutual interest.
