No:172/19, Press information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the decision of the Grenoble administrative court of the Republic of France
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomes the decision of the administrative court of Grenoble of the Republic of France of 6 June 2019 on the abolition of the illegal "treaties" signed between the Drome department and the so-called separatist regime in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, as well as among Bourg-lés-Valence, Valence and Bourg-de-Péage communes of France and the “local authorities” established by the so-called regime in the occupied Shusha, Khankendi and Khojavand cities of Azerbaijan.
As in the decision of the administrative court of Cergy-Pontoise, the ruling of the Grenoble administrative court invalidates the illegal documents signed between the local self-governing bodies of France with the so-called “administrative regions” in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, in violation of French legislation and international obligations of France. These decisions are yet another manifestation of rule of law and the importance of fulfillment of international commitments. Any illegal activity, including the promotion of illegal regimes, is doomed to failure. Directing our efforts towards the settlement of the conflict in the framework of international law and in accordance with the requirements of the international community can lead to sustainable peace and development in the region and a common victory for all and everyone.

Сообщение Управления пресс-службы Министерства иностранных дел относительно решения Гренобльского административного суда Французской Республики
Министерство иностранных дел приветствует решение Административного суда Гренобля, Франция, от 6 июня с.г. об аннулировании незаконных «соглашений»между департаментом Дром и фиктивным режимом в оккупированном Нагорно-Карабахском регионе нашей страны, а также между французскими коммунами Бур-ле-Валанс, Валанс и Бур-де-Пеаж и «местными властями», учреждёнными фиктивным режимом в оккупированных городах Азербайджана Шуша, Ханкенди и Ходжаванд.
Решение Административного суда Гренобля, также как и принятое незадолго до этого решение французского Административного суда Сержи-Понтуаз, отменяет незаконные документы, подписанные органами местного самоуправления страны с субъектами на оккупированных территориях Азербайджана вопреки законодательству и международным обязательствам Франции. Эти решения являются очередным проявлением верховенства закона и важности выполнения международных обязательств. Любая незаконная деятельность, в том числе поощрение незаконных режимов, обречена на провал. Направление наших усилий в русло урегулирования конфликта в плоскости международного права и в соответствии с требованиями мирового сообщества может принести устойчивый мир иразвитие региону и общую победу для всех и каждого.
