On February 24, 2020, as a result of a serious violation of the ceasefire regime by the Armenian armed forces in the direction of the village of Gushchu Ayrim, Gazakh region of Azerbaijan, the border guard soldier of Azerbaijan, Valiyev Ibrahim Alamshah oghly was killed. We would like to highlight that the bloody incident occurred on the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border.
The consistent violation of the ceasefire regime on the state border by the Armenian armed forces, as well as along the line of contact of the troops of the two countries, targeted fire on the Azerbaijani military and civilians once again clearly demonstrate the aggressive policy of Armenia and the "revolutionary" initiatives of the leadership of this country.
With this intentional assassination, Armenia once again proves that the country is the aggressor, and its attempts to hide behind the puppet regime that it created in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan are completely vain.
This incident which happened on the eve of the commemoration of the Khojaly genocide perpetrated by the Armenian armed forces is just another horrible and hypocritical attempt by Armenia to distract its dirty actions from the world community.
The murder of a soldier of the State Border Service guarding the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan is a crime, and the responsibility for this bloody act lies with the Armenian side.
May Allah rest the soul of our Martyr.

24 февраля этого года в результате грубого нарушения режима прекращения огня подразделениями Вооруженных сил Армении в направлении села Гушчу Айрым Газахского района Азербайджана был убит наш военнослужащий-пограничник Велиев Ибрагим Аламшах оглу. Хотелось бы подчеркнуть, что кровавый инцидент произошел на азербайджано-армянской государственной границе.
Последовательное нарушение вооружёнными силами Армении режима прекращения огня на государственной границе, а также вдоль линии соприкосновения войск двух стран, прицельный огонь по азербайджанским военным и гражданским лицам наглядно демонстрирует агрессивную политику этой страны и истинную суть “революционных” инициатив её руководства.
Данной преднамеренной атакой Армения вновь наглядно подтверждает, что именно она является стороной-агрессором, и её попытки прикрываться созданным ею же на оккупированных территориях Азербайджана бутафорским режимом абсолютно безосновательны.
Произошедшее накануне Дня памяти жертв Ходжалинского геноцида, совершенного вооруженными силами Армении, является очередной злостной и лицемерной попыткой Армении отвлечь внимание мировой общественности от своих грязных деяний.
Убийство солдата Государственной пограничной службы, охраняющего международно признанные границы Азербайджана, является преступлением, и ответственность за это кровавое деяние лежит на армянской стороне.
