On 22 January 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed his condolences in connection with the tragic fire that occurred at a hotel in the Kartalkaya mountain ski resort of Bolu province. He wished Allah’s mercy to those who lost their lives, patience to their relatives, and recovery to the injured.
It was brought to attention that the Republic of Azerbaijan stands in solidarity with brotherly Türkiye in these difficult days and shares its grief, and hope was expressed that such a tragedy would not occur again. It was brought to attention that our country is ready to provide any assistance.
Minister Hakan Fidan expressed his gratitude for the condolences and the support shown on this difficult day.
