New Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al Othaimeen addressed a letter to the Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov
In the letter the new Secretary General thanked the Minister Elmar Mammadyarov for his letter of congratulation on this occasion and expressed his assurance of further development of relations between Azerbaijan and the OIC, for the mutual benefit of both sides under his leadership of the organization.
Reiterating the position of the OIC on Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Secretary General Dr. Yousef Al Othaimeen condemned the aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and called for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian troops from all the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
