Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Tsend Munkh Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Tsend Munkh Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged their views on the development of bilateral relations in different directions and its future perspectives. They also touched upon the issues of cooperation within the international organizations.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov briefed his Mongolian counterpart about the large-scale projects of energy and transport being implemented with the initiative and participation of Azerbaijan in the region. Noting the importance and the role of our country in linking of the transportation corridors between Europe and Asia, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov highlighted that the cooperation in the development of transport corridors in Eurasia will be beneficial particularly for the landlocked countries.
Minister Tsend Munkh Orgil noted that Mongolia is interested in the enhancement of comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides also stressed the importance of mutual visits to further advance the relationship between the two countries.
