Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Adil Embarch, newly appointed Ambassador of Morocco to Azerbaijan
Ambassador presented a copy of his credentials to Minister Elmar Mammadyarov. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated Adil Embarch on his appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
At the meeting satisfaction was noted with the development of bilateral political relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco. It was mentioned that favorable opportunities and extensive legal-treaty base do exist for the development of cooperation in the fields of economy, humanitarian, tourism, renewable energy. Importance of promoting the relations between the business circles and holding of business forums was highlighted to enhance trade relations between the two countries.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov expressed his appreciation for the just position of Morocco towards the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and joining of Morocco to the Contact Group of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the aggression of the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Adil Embarch said that he will spare no efforts to further enhance the relations between the two countries.
