Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Jean-Marc Ayrault, Foreign Minister of France
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov had a meeting with Jean-Marc Ayrault, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development of the Republic of France during his working visit to this country. At the meeting the sides had a thorough discussion on the results of the recent high-level meeting held in Vienna on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. Ministers confirmed the importance to respect the agreement on the maintenance of ceasefire, as well as to fully restore the negotiation process in order to achieve the political solution over the conflict. Minister Elmar Mammadyarov praised France’s readiness to organize as soon as possible the next meeting of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia which was agreed in Vienna.
The sides also discussed the other issues on the agenda of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and France.
French Minister with pleasure accepted the invitation of his counterpart to visit Azerbaijan.
