No:529/21, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Azerbaijan
On December 29, 2021, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Azerbaijan Saud Abdulaziz Mohammed al-Shamlan al-Rumi on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state of relations between the two countries, the current level of development and prospects for cooperation. The sides noted the successful development of bilateral relations and the wide range of opportunities for further development of cooperation in economic, trade, and tourism spheres.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kuwait are successfully developing and that they are based on the principles of friendship. The importance of holding regular political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries in terms of further expanding these relations was emphasized.
Ambassador Saud Abdulaziz Mohammed al-Shamlan al-Rumi thanked for the support provided to him during his diplomatic career.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov praised the Ambassador's efforts to develop bilateral relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.
