No:506/24, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia

On 23 December 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, was received by Aleksandar Vučić, President of the Republic of Serbia, within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Serbia.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the existing strategic partnership relations between the two countries, and the importance of mutual high-level visits was emphasized.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted on bilateral strategic partnership relations, as well as regional security issues.
The sides stated that the continuous mutual support always shown by Azerbaijan and Serbia for each other’s territorial integrity and sovereignty is commendable.
President Vučić, congratulating our country on the successful hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), recalled with satisfaction his meeting with Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, within the framework of COP29.
At the meeting, bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
