On 9 December 2024, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and Feridun Hadi Sinirlioğlu, newly appointed Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
During the phone call, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov extended his sincere congratulations to Ambassador Feridun Sinirlioğlu, who has extensive diplomatic experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, on his unanimous appointment as Secretary General of the OSCE, and wished him continued success in this important activity.
The importance Azerbaijan attaches to cooperation with the OSCE was conveyed to the Secretary General.
The sides exchanged views on various issues and prospects of the cooperation agenda within the framework of the OSCE.
