No:480/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the working visit of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev to the State of Qatar
On October 12-13, 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Fariz Rzayev paid a working visit to the State of Qatar. During the visit, the third round of consultations was held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State of Qatar. In the consultations, the Qatari side was represented by the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Soltan bin Saad al-Muraikhi.
The current state of relations between the two countries, as well as ways of developing bilateral relations in political, economic, humanitarian and other fields were discussed at the meeting. The sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Azerbaijan's delegation presented information on the post-conflict situation in the region, including restoration, reconstruction, and reintegration work in the liberated areas.
Within the framework of the visit, F.Rzayev visited Qatar's "Al-Jazeera" TV channel.
F.Rzayev also held meetings with students and teaching staff at Hamad Bin Khalifa and Georgetown universities in Qatar.
