On 2 December 2024, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Maka Botchorishvili, newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his colleague on her appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the newly formed Government of Georgia and wished her success in this honorable position.
The sides discussed the current state of friendship and strategic partnership relations between the two countries, as well as existing plans and prospects for the further development of these relations in the future. It was emphasized that the existing political dialogue at the highest and high levels between our countries, intensive visits held, and the political consultations mechanism contribute to the further strengthening of strategic partnership relations.
The Ministers also exchanged views on regional issues and directions of cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
