On 4 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, David van Weel, on the sidelines of the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Vienna.
During the meeting, issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, as well as the current regional situation, were discussed.
It was noted that there are broad prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Netherlands in a number of areas, including energy, green energy, trade, transport, and other sectors.
The importance of mutual visits between the two countries, contacts within the framework of various international events, high-level engagement aimed at discussing the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as the mechanism of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, was emphasized.
The counterpart was informed about Azerbaijan’s role in the wider region, as well as the situation and realities in the region in the post-conflict period and following the Washington Summit.
The meeting also addressed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
