On 3 December 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, on the sidelines of the 32nd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
During the meeting, issues related to the development of strong friendship, brotherhood, and strategic allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in all areas were discussed, as well as the existing security situation in the wider region and measures aimed at ensuring regional peace and stability.
In this context, the importance of maintaining high-level political dialogue between the two countries was emphasized.
The sides reviewed prospects for cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, energy, and transport-communication projects, including the implementation of regional connectivity initiatives.
The ministers noted the importance of continuing close cooperation within international organizations, emphasizing that mutual support between Azerbaijan and Türkiye contributes positively to regional cooperation.
The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues.
