No:336/24, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Special Representative for the Türkiye–Armenia normalization process, Ambassador Serdar Kılıç

On 13 September 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the Special Representative for the Türkiye–Armenia normalization process, Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, who is on a visit to our country.
During the meeting, the Azerbaijan–Armenia peace process, the situation in the region in the post-conflict period, the negotiations conducted between the special representatives on the Türkiye–Armenia normalization process, as well as regional and international security issues were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided the other side with detailed information on the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. It was noted that challenges hindering the peace process still persist, including ongoing claims against the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country enshrined in Armenia’s Constitution, as well as steps taken by third states contributing to the militarization of Armenia and posing a threat to regional stability.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest, including bilateral matters, cooperation within international organizations, and regional issues.
