No:335/19, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Mohamed A.Alhakim, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of İraq on the sidelines of the 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku
During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iraq.
Talking about the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and İraq in the fields of economy and trade, including investments, as well as humanitarian and other areas, the Ministers pointed out the confidence that the mutually beneficial relations would continue to develop for the benefit of both peoples.
İraq's Foreign Minister expressed confidence that during Azerbaijani presidency in the Non-Aligned Movement the high values will be gradually promoted and it would contribute to global peace and prosperity and wished all the best to Azerbaijan during its chairmanship.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Mohamed A.Alhakim wrote his heartfelt words in the Memorial Book dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
