On 28 July 2025, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.
During the telephone conversation, issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan strategic allied relations were discussed, including the implementation plans of agreements reached in the framework of bilateral and multilateral cooperation following the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan on 2 July, as well as the regional situation.
The sides also reviewed preparations for international events organized with the participation of the two countries.
In addition, views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
