No:298/24, Press release on the meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Yaakov Blitshtein

On 24 July 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Yaakov Blitshtein.

 

During the meeting, various aspects of bilateral and multilateral relations were discussed, including the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of economy, security, high technologies, education, tourism, energy, transport, and others, as well as the situation in Gaza.

 

Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the other side about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period and the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process.

 

It was noted that within the framework of our country’s presidency of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), additional opportunities have emerged for cooperation between the two countries.

 

During the meeting, an exchange of views also took place on other international and regional issues of mutual interest.
